Washington Football Team studs and duds from Thanksgiving 2020 win

Stud No. 5 – S Kamren Curl
I already ate crow for this one, but for the purposes of eating well on Thanksgiving, I’ll have a second serving. Kamren Curl is a baller, plain and simple. I didn’t see it coming after watching his tape, but he’s morphed into a straight tackling machine for the Washington Football Team.
Curl was flying around the field against the Cowboys. He finished with eight total tackles and five solo tackles, bringing his season totals to 54 total tackles and 34 solo tackles, respectively. Curl doesn’t have the best timed speed (4.60), but he has good burst for his 6-foot-1 frame, and his instincts have shined under Ron Rivera’s tutelage.
In the four games Curl has played since taking on a full-time starting role in place of Landon Collins, he’s logged 37 total tackles and 22 solo takedowns, averaging almost ten total tackles per game. He also has two tackles for loss in that span for good measure.
Curl can stand to grow as a playmaker in coverage, but at this point, just eleven games into his professional career, the seventh-round pick has already wildly exceed expectations. He’s not just a good story; he’s a legitimate defensive safety blanket whose ability to be in the right place at the right time continues to stand out.
