Score Prediction

I hate to be a downer, but I’m kind of feeling a loss this week. The Washington Football Team would absolutely be more thankful for a win, especially being that they remain in the hunt for the NFC East. But Washington simply hasn’t responded very well to success this year.

In Week 1, Washington rallied back to beat the Eagles. The next week, they were handled swiftly by the Cardinals. In Week 9, after dominating the Cowboys and  having a bye week, Washington came out flat and lost to the two-win Giants. You have to understand how unimpressive that is. Culture change or not, the Washington Football Team remains unable to string together wins and cling to forward momentum.

This will be a close game, but Dallas’ offense, which was a clear weakness last time, is now starting to find its footing. Kellen Moore is growing more comfortable with his personnel, and on defense, Dallas is starting to get quality play where they need it.

The Cowboys’ cornerbacks still present an opportunity for Washington’s receivers, but this is no longer the supremely vulnerable Cowboys team Washington saw in Week 7. Dallas has since taken the undefeated Steelers to the final minutes, and beaten a once-surging Vikings team. At home, against an inconsistent Washington squad, I’m taking Dallas to dampen Washington’s playoff hopes, as they have a habit of doing.

Score Prediction: DAL 26, WAS 21
