Washington Football Team defense vs. Cowboys offense

In the last battle between these two teams, the Washington Football Team’s defense dominated the Cowboys, limiting their offense to just three points. I’m betting that doesn’t happen this time around.

Both Washington’s defense and Dallas’ defense have lingered back toward the mean performance level since that game. Washington’s defense has shown some holes, while Andy Dalton is slowly starting to find a rhythm as the Cowboys’ signal caller.

Dalton had three touchdown passes on Sunday afternoon against Minnesota, and with Washington’s secondary still suffering from occasional miscommunication, his loaded receiving core consisting of Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup might continue to feast.

Until Dalton can string together two good games, Washington’s defense has a slight advantage, especially with their defensive line starting to garner some more pressure. But this will most certainly be a closer contest than the last rivalry rewind.
