No. 1 – The Reality Is, Landon Collins is struggling this season.

Troy Apke gets a bunch of flak for his inconsistent tackling and pursuit angles, but honestly, he’s been better than Landon Collins so far this season.

Collins has a much higher missed tackle rate. Collins has more dramatic blown coverages. And Collins is the one on an $84 million deal.

My theory is that Collins has struggled to pick up Rivera and Del Rio’s system in a few key areas, and has ended up guessing and thinking too much, rather than just being able to play freely. In any case, he needs to step up.

My Prediction: Look for Collins to step up and play aggressively this Sunday and even notch a few impact plays such as a turnover, sack, or tackle for loss.
