Practice Squad and Injured List

Practice Squad

Protected Players: WR Isaiah Wright, QB Steven Montez, CB Ryan Lewis, CB Danny Johnson

The Rest: OT Timon Parris, LB Jared Norris, WR Cam Sims, DE Ryan Bee, OT Paul Adams, CB Jeremy Reaves, OT David Sharpe, FS Kamren Curl, CB Ryan Lewis, DE James Smith-Williams, OG Michael Liedtke, WR Darvin Kidsy

Steven Montez and Isaiah Wright are key players to protect from being sniped by another team.  Danny Johnson may have a future in the league and flashed potential in his first year.

Injured Reserve, PUP, NFI

WR Kelvin Harmon, QB Alex Smith, LB Reuben Foster, TE Thaddeus Moss

Harmon’s season came crashing down with an injury this summer, but he will return in 2021.  Smith’s story is amazing and it is not over by any stretch of the imagination.  Foster may return, but his future continues to be very clouded and murky for now.

The 2020 season is nearly here and the roster of 53 will be known soon, but it could continue to change and evolve over the next two weeks or so.  There are many questions on offense, but the defense seems to be set for now.

We’ll see if there are any other changes forthcoming, but football is knocking on the door!
