Week 9 – Redskins vs. Giants

The bye week comes at an opportune time for the Redskins, who’ve lost six of their opening seven games. This is a good chance for Rivera and his players to recalibrate, and after the bye week, they have a comforting home bout against the New York Giants.

No game is safe to mark as a victory at this point, but this might be the Redskins’ likeliest win: At home, coming off a bye week, against a divisional opponent of a similar talent echelon. With an efficient offense led by a budding Dwayne Haskins, and a defense finally starting to play to its potential in crucial moments, the Redskins will double their win total against the Giants.

Prediction: WAS 31, NYG 21

Record: 2-6
