Redskins way-too-early record prediction after schedule release

Week 7 – Redskins vs. Cowboys
If there’s ever a point in Ron Rivera’s debut season where Dan Snyder’s infamous patience will be tested, this is it. In Week 7, after a pivotal, two-way battle against the Giants, the Redskins head home to host the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys, despite questions surrounding their coaching hires in 2020, are my favorite to win the NFC East. Their roster is by far the best in the division, possessing an unreal amount of talent on the offensive side of the ball, as well as enough star power on defense to mold a formidable unit.
The Redskins always come into games against Dallas with a chip on their shoulder, but it might not be until after a loss or two that Rivera gains his balance and sends back a response in one of the NFL’s oldest rivalries. The Redskins shouldn’t be expected to compete with a playoff contender like Dallas, as much as they might want to.
