Post-free agency full NFL two-round mock: Redskins trade down
By Ian Cummings
The Kansas City Chiefs’ top need is fairly obvious. The team lost cornerbacks Bashaud Breeland and Kendall Fuller in free agency, and while they made some additions, they need a more confidence-inducing investment on the back end.
At No. 32, there are still a number of worthy options at the cornerback position, among them Auburn’s Noah Igbinoghene, Alabama’s Trevon Diggs, and Clemson’s A.J. Terrell. The common theme for this NFL Draft class of cornerbacks is length and athleticism, and while all three of these guys have those qualities in spades, Terrell might have the best mixture.
Igbinoghene is the most athletic cornerback of this late-first group, and Diggs has the most imposing length, but Terrell, with a slightly larger wingspan than Igbinoghene and better athleticism than Diggs, is a good compromise. His National Championship performance may have left a bad impression on some people, but Terrell is a fluid cornerback with the length to be disruptive and produce on the boundary.
