player. 45. . Wide Receiver. Denver Broncos. Jerry Jeudy. 15

The third-worst-kept secret in the 2020 NFL Draft, behind Burrow to the Bengals and Young to the Redskins, is the Broncos’ desire to add a speedy receiver with the No. 15 pick.

In the Broncos’ ideal draft fantasy, Henry Ruggs III is the player who drops to No. 15, but after his NFL Combine performance, that’s looking less and less realistic. The Broncos could trade up, but if they stay at No. 15, there’s a chance they could manage to land someone of a similar caliber. Jerry Jeudy could fall to them, and if he does, he’s a dynamic threat in his own right.

Jeudy doesn’t have the transcendent athletic profile that Ruggs has, but with 4.45 speed and a 35-inch vertical, he’s still in the more uncommon category of athletes. Jeudy wins with very impressive route nuance and agility, and he’d help Denver recoup on the elite route runner they lost when they traded Emmanuel Sanders to San Francisco.
