No. 3 – Do another mock draft!

No wait, that’s a fake heading. I mean, it’s accurate, but not everything’s about the NFL Draft (As much as I might make it seem). There’s also this:

No. 3 – Anticipate free agency!

Free agency may be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, but given the largely hands-off nature of the event, it’s very unlikely that it will be cancelled. Teams have been preparing their pocket books since January, and the Redskins are no different: They have over $60 million to work with, and everyone is on the edge of their seat to see what they do.

The questions range all over for the Redskins coming free agency period. Will they make a big-name signing? Will it be a cornerback, like Byron Jones? A wide receiver, like Amari Cooper, if he doesn’t re-sign with Dallas? Is signing one of the top tight ends a good move, or a bad value deal? What will happen with the team’s two starting guards.

It’s all on the table for the Redskins free agency, and a potential delay isn’t going to change that. If anything, that would give us more time to discuss and speculate on how the Ron Rivera era might continue in March.
