No. 1 – Auburn OT Jack Driscoll

We talk about the depth of the 2020 offensive tackle class a lot, and Auburn’s Jack Driscoll is a part of that depth. Widely considered a mid-round pick in the scouting community, Driscoll could provide great value for the Redskins, and a strong showing at the Shrine Bowl might solidify his status.

Driscoll is a bit undersized at a little less than 300 pounds, but he has good length with a 6-foot-5 frame, and he underwent an impressive transition, transferring from Massachusetts to Auburn, holding his own in SEC play.

Predictably with his lacking weight, Driscoll can stand to improve his play strength as he undergoes the move to the NFL, but Driscoll has a solid athletic floor and has an ingrained understanding of fundamental concepts such as hand placement, and timing his break out of his stance.

Driscoll has starting NFL upside, and he could be had in Round 3 or Round 4, providing John Matsko and the Redskins with a potential value deal. He’s not the only offensive tackle to watch at the Shrine Bowl, but his resume stands out amongst the pack.

Other Tackles to Watch: Michigan OT John Runyan, Missouri OT Yasir Durant
