814. . Offensive Tackle. Bulldogs . Andrew Thomas. 2. player

Andrew Thomas is almost identically sized to Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs, but where Wirfs has weaknesses, Thomas doesn’t.

That statement sounds dramatic, and in a sense, it is; Thomas isn’t a flawless prospect, as those simply don’t exist. But Thomas is one of the best left tackle prospects to hit the draft circuit in the past decade, and teams with a need at left tackle would be remiss not to seriously consider him.

Thomas possesses stellar footwork and mobility at the line, and he’s a very strong player as well, with the ability to neutralize even the most powerful defensive linemen who come his way. Thomas is very mentally proficient as a blocker; he adapts well to fast-paced environments, and he can use this affinity, in conjunction with his mobility and power, to dominate the left side.

If it wasn’t for a certain edge rusher, Andrew Thomas would be far and away the No. 1 prospect on the Redskins first round big board, and as it stands, he should probably be No. 1a, as opposed to No. 2. But there’s one player with the raw upside that exceeds even Thomas.
