2. Dwayne Haskins avoids turnovers, throws two touchdowns

One of the biggest keys for the Redskins is going to be avoiding turnovers. This year, their quarterbacks have had some serious self-destructive moments in big spots. Both Dwayne Haskins and Case Keenum had three-interception games, and the Redskins were blown out in those.

They’re simply not a team that can afford mistakes like that.

On Sunday, I expect that Haskins and Bill Callahan will once again make it their mission to operate an efficient, mistake-free offense. And I think that Haskins will succeed again.

If Haskins can avoid throwing interceptions while still taking some downfield chances, that should afford the Redskins offense a chance to operate efficiently. The team will still use the short passing game to move the ball, along with the run, but if they start pushing the envelope a bit more and Haskins succeeds, that would certainly be progress.

Against the Jets and their poor secondary, Haskins will toss a couple of touchdowns and avoid interceptions once again. This should be the best game of his young career and if he can replicate the relative success he had against the Bills, the passing offense should be in solid working order.
