2. Terry McLaurin is a stud

We already knew this after the first few weeks of the season. But everything he has been able to do in the past two weeks should just reinforce that notion.

Against Miami, McLaurin was terrific. His first two catches went for touchdowns, and he was able to get wide open on the plays by running some beautiful routes. His speed is nice too, but the nuanced route-running was particularly impressive.

The first touchdown, in particular, showed his ability to trick defenders with his routes. He made it look like he was running one way, broke back the other and ended up getting wide open. He was able to get under it perfectly and made a nice catch while coming to the ground.

Overall, McLaurin showcased his diverse skill set. But above all, his route-running ability is proving to be unmatched among rookies, something that many expected would be the case to start his career.

If McLaurin can continue to be the team’s No. 1 receiver for the rest of the season, that will at least give them one major offensive weapon moving forward. And if they can add another receiver in the upcoming draft, which is loaded at the position, the team could soon have a stacked receiving corps.
