The Washington Redskins are taking on the Dallas Cowboys in the Week 2 of NFL action. Here are some bold predictions for the contest.

The Washington Redskins are preparing for Sunday’s home opener at FedEx Field in the coming days. And safe to say, they’ll be motivated to put forth a strong performance.

The Redskins (0-1) are taking on their arch-rival, the Dallas Cowboys, in their home opener. The Cowboys (1-0) are fresh off a 35-17 win over the New York Giants in which they played terrific on the offensive side of the ball. And they’ll be looking to continue their NFC East winning streak in their contest against the Redskins.

On paper, the Redskins really need the win more than the Cowboys. With Jay Gruden on the hot seat, he can’t afford to get behind the eight-ball early in his season. The Cowboys are also facing an easier stretch than the Redskins are, as they have an easy Week 3 matchup with the Miami Dolphins, so they may be a bit overconfident in their ability to start the season 3-0.

With that said, some crazy things could happen in this contest. This figures to be a closer affair than many expect, so we’ll see what ends up happening. But for now, here’s a look at five bold predictions for the Redskins vs. Cowboys contest.
