. Cornerback. LSU. Greedy Williams. 29. player. 36

The Seahawks acquired this pick in the Frank Clark deal. After getting offensive help with their first pick, they’ll target defense here.

Greedy Williams makes too much sense for Seattle. He is a long, physical, athletic cornerback who would be an ideal fit in their system. The Seahawks really like to find long cornerbacks for their defense, and while they have had success in converting late-round options at the position, they could grab a guy who has the potential to be the top corner in this class right here.

Williams could start across from Shaquill Griffin while pushing Tre Flowers into more of a backup role. But either way, Williams’ athleticism and versatility should intrigue the Seahawks.

Other Seahawks Draft Options

WR N’Keal Harry, Arizona State. The Seahawks could use another receiver and Harry fits what they tend to look for in a prospect.

Trade Down. The Seahawks acquired this selection, but they don’t have a second round pick. If they want to recoup that and pick up an extra selection, this could be prime territory for someone to trade up for Will Grier (who is generating a lot of buzz).
