1. Josh Johnson avoid turnovers entirely, leads Redskins in rushing (75 yards)

This is really bold. During his career, Johnson has been prone to turning the ball over a lot. He has 11 interceptions and 11 fumbles in 31 career games. But against the Titans, I think that he will keep his cool.

After initially being over-excited against the Jaguars last week, Johnson settled down and really put together a solid performance. He did take some risks and did fumble the ball, but he generally made smart plays (except early on when he couldn’t avoid being sacked). If he can keep building momentum and getting comfortable in Jay Gruden’s offense, his success should continue.

In addition to his ability to secure the ball, I expect Johnson to lead the team in rushing as well. He is a scrambler and the team’s offensive line is in shambles. Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson won’t do much between the tackle, so this isn’t too shocking. But, if he gets up to about 75 yards, as I expect, that would be a nice performance from him.

Johnson’s dual-threat ability will be what keeps the Redskins in the game. It’s bold to assume that he will put together a clean, all-around game, but it remains a possibility for sure.
