The Redskins haven’t been commanding any confidence, as of late. They can either change that, or seal their uninspiring fate, today.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are not all that different from the Washington Redskins. Their season has been slipping for a while now, and quarterback concerns have been a crucial part of the Jaguars’ struggles. Their defense hasn’t been able to consistently carry them, and now, they’re playing in a meaningless Week 15 game.

For the Redskins, Week 15 means a little bit more, but their fate could be sealed by the day’s end.

At 6-7, Washington has been slowly edging out of the playoff race. There was a time when they were 6-3, but after the injury sustained by Alex Smith, the team’s winning formula fell apart. The offense turned the ball over and leaked time of possession, while the defense suffered from the lack of rest and reliability on the other side of the ball.

Now, over the last four games, Washington has been outscored 122 to 73, and they’re in danger of losing a fifth straight on the road in Jacksonville. We can talk about whether losing is better for the team somewhere else, but as long as the coaches have a chance to save their jobs, they’ll try and tack on more wins, even if the team has no chance of succeeding in the playoffs.

If you, by any chance, want to watch the game today, you’ll be able to watch it on television, provided you live in the local D.C. area. If not, you can still live stream it on FuboTV or NFL Game Pass. Make sure you read up on the pregame links before kickoff!
