Scenario No. 2

Scenario No. 2 is a variation of the first scenario listed. The Redskins may experience some success in occasional pockets, and things won’t completely fall apart.

By the end of the season, however, it will be made translucently clear that Jay Gruden is not the answer for the Redskins as head coach, and the Redskins will have no qualms entering the head coaching market. Making the right choice, however, will be much more stressful.

With this scenario, there is some hope that the current personnel group, more or less, can win when healthy. The return of players such as Derrius Guice, Brandon Scherff, and Paul Richardson in 2019 will inevitably help.
