Round 3

OG Beau Benzschawel – Wisconsin

The Redskins have major worries at left guard, and it has been an issue for several years.  Benzschawel could be the answer in his first season and is likely a solid ten-year starter.

Compensatory Pick – TE Caleb Wilson – UCLA

Jordan Reed is having a good 2018 and he’s staying healthy for now, but there are no guarantees.  Vernon Davis is not getting any younger, and Jeremy Sprinkle is primarily a blocking tight end.  Wilson would be a nice addition. He would likely take a year to develop, but he brings a receiving and blocking skillset.
