Score prediction

Three wins in a row would be huge for the Redskins. A 2-0 record in the NFC East would be even bigger. But can they do it on the road? That’s a big question.

The Redskins appear to have the advantage on both sides of the ball. And at head coach, I would certainly take Jay Gruden over Pat Shurmur (seriously, why did Shurmur go for two in that Monday night game? I get there was some math behind it, but it just seemed nonsensical). So, that’s another advantage.

Of course, being too confident in the ‘Skins has backfired in the past. And their offense still isn’t scoring a ton of points. But, I like them to scrap out a key road win to continue to build their divisional lead. With the Cowboys on bye and the Eagles in a tough London clash with the Jaguars, this is their opportunity to really widen the gap from 1.5 games to possibly 2-2.5 games.

We’ll see if the upset-minded Giants can do something to knock the Redskins off their high horse. But for now, I’ll take Washington to win a defensive battle.
