5. Redskins must limit the short completions with Cole Beasley and Ezekiel Elliott

The Cowboys did a fantastic job of using screen passes in their victory against Jacksonville. On top of all the damage Elliott did on the ground, he has been effective out of the backfield with 23 receptions on the season.

With the release of Dez Bryant in the off-season, the Cowboys lack a true number one receiver on the team now. But, they still have Cole Beasley, who is a nightmare to guard in the slot on shallow crossing routes. Fabian Moreau must be ready for the challenge. The Redskins need to know where Beasley is it at all times because he will burn them if they lose track of him. He should see a good number of the balls from Dak Prescott and the secondary must be ready to limit the yards after the catch.

Josh Norman and the Redskins secondary stepped up big time holding the Panthers to just 17 points, including a big 4th down stop to seal the game. DJ Swearinger has talked before about changing the culture and winning big games. This is just the game to do it.
