4. Kirk Cousins throws for 400 yards, three touchdowns against the Giants

With everything that was just said about the Giants secondary being taken into account, it would be a shock if the Redskins quarterback didn’t have a big day. With Kirk Cousins having just one more game left before (possibly) hitting the free agent market, he will want to impress his potential suitors. This is a great chance to do it.

Expect Cousins to come out throwing from the beginning. The Giants actually have a decent run defense when Damon “Snacks” Harrison is on the field, so the team will probably air the ball out a lot. If they can get a little something going on the ground, the play action game will work to destroy the young Giants defensive backs.

The Redskins should look to utilize more double moves to take advantage of the young Giants backfield. With Brandon Dixon and Ross Cockrell set to play big roles, they could be susceptible to biting on well timed moves. The more confused the Redskins can make the defensive backs, the better that Cousins will be.

When it’s all said and done, this could end up being Cousins’ best performance of the year. Throwing for three touchdowns is well within the realm of possibility. As for the 400 yards, why not? Let’s see Cousins end the year on a high note as he heads into another few months of uncertainty.
