Panthers vs. Jaguars 

The Carolina Panthers and quarterback Cam Newton won the NFC South and made the playoffs with a losing record last season.  They still want to win the division but this time with a record above .500.  That quest begins on Sunday on the road against Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jags are looking to get the season started off right with a win at home but I don’t think they’ll get it.  Bortles will be improved over last season but the Jags defense doesn’t have enough pass rushers to stop Newton and the Panthers offense.  The Panthers will take this one on the road.       NFL Picks
