Chiefs vs. Texans

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans are both coming off of 9-7 records last season and both missed the playoffs.  The teams share similarities in that neither can be considered explosive offensively but each has a dominant player on defense in the Texans J.J. Watt and the Chiefs Justin Houston.

So each team will try to establish the run and rely on their defenses to try limit the other team from putting too many points on the board.  The Chiefs have good players on offense in running back Jamaal Charles and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin but I like the Texans defense to keep them in control and pick up the win at home.    NFL Picks
