Week 7 – Oct. 25 – 1:00pm – Buccaneers at Redskins
The Redskins were lit up at home last season by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and rookie wide receiver Mike Evans. It was an ugly week 11 loss and one that I’m sure the Redskins thought they had a good chance to win.
But Robert Griffin III was terrible in that game but this time around Kirk Cousins will be the starter and he should be more effective. As will the Redskins secondary which has been revamped with the additions of cornerback Chris Culliver, free safety Dashon Goldson and Duke Ihenacho at strong safety.
Goldson will be looking to show his old team the Bucs what they’re missing. I think the Redskins will win this one. With rookie Jameis Winston quarterbacking the Bucs they Redskins secondary may have a advantage.
Prediction – Redskins win
Redskins Record – (5-2)
Week 8 – Bye Week
