Spencer Long, RG

Spencer Long finally had a chance to see the field for extended time in the final game of the season. With both Trent Williams and Tom Compton unable to return in the fourth quarter, it is interesting that Long was who Gruden chose to put in at the more difficult and important LT position than the much more experienced Polumbus.

Long will be given every opportunity to win a starting spot with the Redskins in 2015. He can play both G and T and may also be able to play C. RG will probably be where he wins a job but a lot will depend on what his competition looks like across the line.

Long scored a respectable 0.83 rating over the final 2 games. He had one play against the Eagles when Chester slid over to C to fill in for Lichtensteiger.
