Get the Ball in the Playmaker’s Hands

Griffin has the privilege of playing with some of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL. In DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Andre Roberts, Niles Paul (Jordan Reed is out Sunday), Alfred Morris and Roy Helu Jr.,the Redskins can potentially have one of the most potent offenses in the league. But, it starts with Griffin.

If he’s not getting the ball in those playmakers’ hands, they can’t do any damage. We’ve seen what Jackson and Garcon can do with a short slant or comeback route, and we’ve seen what Helu can do when he gets the ball in space — as he demonstrated against the Buccaneers.

This also falls on Gruden some, as he has to call the right plays to get the ball in their hands. Again, Griffin doesn’t have to be Superman, he just has to be smart with the ball, and allow his teammates to make him look good.
