2014 Record:  1-8

Week 10 – The Buccaneers lost at home to the Atlanta Falcons 27-17.

It’s rare that a head coach is fired after just one season at the helm of a team.  But if Lovie Smith doesn’t find a way to get a few more wins then he may not make it to a second.  With Smith’s track record it was expected that the Buccaneers would at least get challenge for seven or eight wins this year.

But all they’ve been able to muster so far is one.  However, the Buccaneers have been competitive in their recent losses and that must taken into consideration for Smith.  But at the end of the day, winning is all that counts in the NFL.  And if the Bucs continue to stumble then Lovie Smith might be out of job.  LW # 7
