49ers vs. Rams
The Rams have found a pleasant surprise at quarterback in second year man Austin Davis as he’s more than held his own as their starter in place of the injured Sam Bradford. However, the stakes have now been raised because the 49ers know that Davis can hurt them if they don’t respect him and this is a huge NFC West division game.
So I’m not sure Austin Davis is quite ready for prime time just yet. The Rams will have the home crowd behind them and will be hyped up playing on Monday Night Football but the 49ers are still the superior team and have the smash-mouth style necessary to win a tough division game on the road.
