Texans vs. Raiders

The Texans got a nice victory at home over the Washington Redskins in week 1 with defensive end J.J. Watt turning in a dominant performance.  I expect that dominance to continue against the Raiders especially with rookie Derek Carr starting at quarterback instead of former Texan Matt Schaub.

However, this won’t be a high scoring game as the Raiders are competent on defense as well but the Texans just have a little more talent and will get the close win on the road.

Winner:  Texans

Score prediction:       20-17  Texans

Points spread:      Texans -3
