Silas Redd

running back,

Silas Redd was an undrafted free agent signed this offseason by the Redskins.  He had a so-so season in college at USC but he looks like a completely different running back now than he did then.  Maybe getting into an NFL training program has something to do with that.  Because Redd looks like a much more powerful runner as a pro.

Redd had 9 carries for 45 yards and a 5 yard per carry average.  He also had 2 catches for 18 yards.  Silas Redd as an undrafted free agent seemed like a ling shot to make the team at the start of training camp but now much like Lache Seastrunk this performance has gotten his name into the discussion as a possibility to make the team.
