9. Ken Whisenhunt, offensive coordinator – San Diego Chargers – Whisenhunt compiled a 45-51 record as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.  He led them to two NFC West division titles and an appearance in Super Bowl XLIII.  But once starting quarterback Kurt Warner retired, Whisenhunt’s tenure went down hill and he was fired.  He’s done a great job as offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers, and as a retread he may one of the few who will be able to step in and win in his second stint as a head coach.
