9. London Fletcher retires – After a sixteen year career, Redskins captain London Fletcher announced his retirement.  He was one of the most durable and versatile linebackers to play the game having played in 256 straight games.  And it appeared as though the end was near, as Fletcher struggled to maintain his high level of play down the stretch of this season.  However, the positive impact he had on the Redskins franchise can’t be denied.
