NFL Coaching Hot Seat – Week 16
1. Mike Shanahan (Washington Redskins) – (3-12) One more game and the Shanahan era will be over in Washington. A victory over the Giants won’t change anything. Not many coaches get three shots at being a head coach in the NFL, and I’d wager it’s the last game Mike Shanahan ever coaches in a head coaching capacity in the NFL. A lot of people forget or may not know that Shanahan was head coach of the then Los Angeles Raiders for a brief stint, before he became the Denver Broncos head coach. LW # 1
