Redskins vs. Jets: 5 keys to a Redskins win

After a disappointing month and half of football, the Washington Redskins got a much needed victory against the Seahawks. Even though play-off chances are slim, the 'Skins should still try to play like they are fighting for the last spot, and hope Tony Romo takes the Cowboys on a free fall. Here are 5 keys that will help the Redskins beat the New York Jets this Sunday:

1) Keep protecting Grossman: Ever since he got the starting job back, Rex Grossman has not been hit a lot, and it has nothing to do with the 3 pounds he
lost while he was on the bench. It’s all in the once again reformed offensive line. They have been buying Rex more than enough time to find his receivers, and
make great passes. If they can hold against a terrifying Jets defense, expect a decent passing game from the home team

2) Take advantage of Sanchez: Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has had a rocky year, much like Rex Grossman. He gets hit often, and when under pressure, Mark throws terrible passes. Last week however, Sanchez led a comeback to defeat the Bills in the final minutes. One of the biggest reasons is the Bills did not go after him in an agressive fashion. A big factor in Sunday’s game will be the Redskins taking advantage of Sanchez’s weaknesses and inconsistencies. If ‘Kerrakapo’ can get their hands on the Jets QB, expect a couple of turnovers. Why the Redskins will win

After another tough loss, the Redskins now sit at 3-7, last in the NFC East. Things do not look like they’ll improve this season, but there is always next season(we’ve said that a few times before). If they keep up this fabulous lose streak, a top 5 pick is within reach. No fans or players like to lose, so let’s look at the Redskins Week 12 opponent Seahawks, and why the Redskins will win.

The Redskins will win because Good Rex is coming out to play. After a nice thanksgiving dinner, Rex Grossman will look to get the job done in Seattle. With the O-line looking better, Rex will have more time to find his improving receiving core. The go-to guys must run precise routs so Bad Rex won’t emerge and raise his completion percentage to other teams.

The Redskins will win because Santana Moss is back and will make plays in his return. After being side- lined for the past month, Moss will be out for revenge and will take out his anger on the Seahawks secondary. The chain moving veteran is back and the team is happier than ever, and the rest of the receivers are starting to click as well. (more…)

Redskins will beat Seattle, I guarantee it

Sure, my opinion may not be worth as much as a well dressed advertiser that guarantees that you’ll like the way you look, but you should hear me out.

Seattle is terrible, they may just be the worst 4-6 team of all time. Their offense has more of a problem converting third downs than we do, at 31.7% as opposed to our 35.5%.

They have Tavaris Jackson at quarterback. This is the same guy that couldn’t get a pass off in Minnesota, they bring over his favorite target with him and still no production. Tavaris has been the leading passer in three games all year and one of which his 197 yards beat out Alex Smith’s 124. (more…)
