One of the new featured for 2013 is the ability to place a Heisman Trophy winner on your team, any team. The newest commercial featured LSU Head Coach Les Miles walking in on the team mascot playing as Griffin III on LSU. Here’s the ad.

Per a tweet from NBC’s Darren Rovell, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner will be featured along side former Oklahoma State running back Barry Sanders. I’m not aware of an NCAA curse, so this should be nothing but good news for Griffin.

The spot was put to a vote and the final two Heisman winners to face off were Herschel Walker and Mr. Sanders.

Ultimately Barry Sanders won out and this is what your NCAA ’13 cover will look like.

I’m just glad that with Griffin III turning pro, he can actually reap some financial reward from his college career (aside from the multi-million dollar contract). NCAA Football 13 is set to release on July 10, 2012. Image courtesy of SB Nation.
