It appears that ever since the Indianapolis Colts made it official that they were taking Andrew Luck with the #1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft, Washington officially fell in love with Robert Griffin III. Redskins fans worldwide did their part to make sure that the Redskins #10 jersey will be amongst the top sellers in the NFL and that Robert knew that Redskins Nation embraced his arrival with open arms. However, today Redskins Nation is opening their arms to show the same love to the woman responsible for the birth and proper upbringing of young Robert Griffin III, Mrs. Jacqueline Griffin. Today is her day to fully experience how much we love and appreciate having her as a part of our family here in Washington. Today is the day where we will look forward to the Griffin family being at the middle of FedEx field as they are at Baylor in the picture above, celebrating MVP’s, Super Bowls and the future Ring of Honor ceremony dedicated to her son.
