The latest Madden update is here. The typical roster moves and depth chart changes, as expected, were made. What I like to look for is are the upgrades/downgrades.

Some of the upgrades are well deserved.  Alfred Morris has gone from a 75 to a 79 in two weeks.  This won’t be the last of these upgrades for Morris as he continues to impress in his rookie campaign.  It only makes sense that Chris Chester, as one of the guys opening those holes for him was upgraded to.  Along these lines, Madden needed to correct for Ryan Grant being rated higher than the starting running back.  At least my beef with how Billy Cundiff and Alfred Morris was fully corrected, but a 75 for Scott Norwood’s look alike is still unbelievable.  Even with the down grade he is rated about 6 points too high. Below are the rest of the changes made on the Redskins roster.

As predicted, the rushing game continues to get some love from Madden ’13 and EA Sports.  Trent Williams now joins the elite with a 90 rating, and Alfred Morris got a bit of a bump, but if he keeps up his production, he should be a running back in the 80′s.  There is little surprise that Billy Cundiff got degraded along with Madieu Williams.  I would love to know how Cundiff and Morris are graded the same.  Below are the rest of the changes made on the Redskins roster.
