Santana Moss and Chris Cooley are featured front and center in this Official Redskins Store ad

The Washington Redskins recently ran an ad via email (pictured above) advertising $25 off of “select jerseys”. We can grant the Redskins that it is nearing that special time of year where gifts are given and received, but with numbers 47 and 89 being placed front and center you have to wonder.

This advertisement could simply be the marketing of two of the Redskins most beloved players these last few years or it could be an indicator of what many already expect. Santana Moss has been productive for much of his seven years in Washington, but he’s 32 years old on a team that is only trying to get younger. We also can’t forget his hand injury that has sidelined him the last few games. He doesn’t seem to be providing as much of a kick with the two lackluster options the Redskins have at quarterback.
