Washington Redskins – Team Needs

1.  Offensive Line

The Redskins have yet to sign a free agent on the offensive line.  They have a huge need at right tackle but they made no moves to address the issue.  So they will certainly bring in more depth at tackle or guard in the draft.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden wants to run more of a power running attack, but he’s had to do so with smaller linemen better suited for the zone blocking scheme.  They have a good starting point at left tackle with Trent Williams and at center with Kory Lichtensteiger.

Left guard Shawn Lauvao showed improvement lat in the year and right guard Chris Chester has avoided getting cut up to this point.  But right tackle is up in the air right now with Morgan Moses and Tom Compton the two main options right now.  LW # 2
