2.  Robert Griffin III improved in protecting himself

After taking a pounding last week against the Cleveland Browns, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III did a better job of protecting himself against the Baltimore Ravens.  Against the Browns RGIII put himself into harms way by turning the ball up field instead of running out of bounds and exposed himself to hits by multiple Browns defenders.

But against the Ravens it seems Griffin made it a priority to ensure he got out of bounds and took no unnecessary punishment.   In fact he did this so well there were a few occasions where he took sacks and lost yards running out of bounds when he should have throw the ball away.  But that’s something he can work on.  The important thing is that RGIII learned the lessons from last week and applied them this week.
