Here is a list of three things the Washington Redskins did well in their 23-17 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens:

1.  Rushing the Passer

The Redskins managed to get three sacks against the Ravens, two of which were in the first half.  Defensive end Jason Hatcher had a break through in his first action of the preseason as he made a sack on a play where he collapsed the pocket and brought down Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.  Hatcher didn’t play much in the game but he made his presence felt none the less.

Outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan also had another strong game by registering his third sack in the past two games.  Also rookie outside linebacker Trent Murphy got his first sack of the preseason in the third quarter and he seems to be improving with each game.  The Redskins other defensive ends Jarvis Jenkins and Chris Baker also put some good pressure on the quarterback as well.
