Redskins vs. Browns – Injury Report Analysis 

1.  Jason Hatcher – DE – KneeOut  Hatcher has been cleared to play but he won’t in this game.  He has returned to practice and is expected to play in the week three preseason game on the road against the Baltimore Ravens.  Jarvis Jenkins will start in Hatcher’s place.  Frank Kearse may get more playing time as wel.l

2.  Brandon Meriweather – SS – Toe – Questionable Meriweather suffered a toe injury in practice and head coach Jay Gruden stated that he had his toe drained and it’s possible that he may play against the Browns, but it’s not definite at this time.  Bacarri Rambo, Trenton Robinson, and Phillip Thomas will get time in his place.       Redskins vs. Browns

3.  Darryl Sharpton – ILB – Ankle – Out  Sharpton is out with an ankle injury.  He had been competing for a spot at inside linebacker but unfortunately he won’t be able to go in this game and his return is unknown.  Will Compton, Akeem Jordan, and Adam Hayward will get more time against the Browns with Sharpton out.

4.  Chris Thompson – RB – Ankle – Out  Chris Thompson suffered an ankle injury against the New England Patriots in week one of the preseason and hasn’t been able to practice since then.  His return is unknown.  Running backs Evan Royster, Silas Redd, and Lache Seastrunk will see more time with Thompson out.          Redskins vs. Browns
