Three Redskins who Turned Heads last week

1. Bacarri Rambo - free safety - Age: 24,  6-0, 211

Bacarri Rambo was a fourth round pick for the Redskins last season and had a solid training camp and preseason in 2013.  He ended up starting three games at safety for the Redskins mostly by default.  He wasn’t really ready to start but was pressed into action due to injuries and suspensions of other Redskins safeties.

But Rambo struggled as a starter for the Redskins and that shouldn’t be a surprise considering he was a rookie.  But I was impressed by Rambo’s play last week against the Patriots.  Especially against the run.  He looked decisive and made sure tackles on ball carriers in the open field.  Hopefully Rambo will keep up the good play as the Redskins could use it this season.
