Redskins vs. Patriots: Three Questions

1. How much respect do the Redskins give the Patriots?

The Washington Redskins enter this week of joint practices with the New England Patriots knowing that the Patriots are one of the top Teams in the NFL.  They go to the playoffs nearly every year, have won super bowls and they have a head coach and a quarterback who both end up in the hall of fame.  And while the Redskins respect the Patriots, they can’t get too caught up in the hype of having the Patriots in Richmond.

Quarterback Robert Griffin III spoke of wanting try to watch the Patriots Tom Brady to try to learn from him.  Brady is where RGIII wants to be.  In the top five quarterbacks in the league, and in the pro bowl every year.  And it’s a good idea to want to learn from Brady, but Griffin doesn’t want get into hero-worship of Brady either.  The same goes for the Rest of the team.  Compete hard, respect them but not too much.
