Kirk Cousins

Quarterback, Washington Redskins

Cousins started the last three games of the season last year for the Redskins while Robert Griffin III was shut down.  He had a good game against Atlanta, and then he struggled against the Cowboys and the Giants.  The Redskins stated they had no plans to trade Cousins in the offseason, but if the right offer would have come along, I think Cousins would surely have been traded.  However, he remains the backup quarterback for the Redskins, and will continue to try to improve in hopes of one day becoming a starter.

Stephen Bowen

Defensive End, Washington Redskins

Stephen Bowen had six sacks his first season with the Redskins in 2011, but has only managed to register one sack over the past two seasons, and didn’t have any on 2013.  Bowen had microfracture surgery last season on his right knee, so that injury may have affected his performance in 2013.  If he fully recovers and can regain the form he showed in 2011, then Bowen might be able to make a run at a starting spot opposite newly signed Jason Hatcher.
