3.  Improve Touchback percentage - With kicker Kai Forbath battling a groin injury much of the season, the Redskins ranked near the bottom of the league in touchback percentage.  Touchbacks are important because they limit the opposing offense to start at their own 20 yard line, and field position can be an important factor in winning or losing a game.

A healthy Forbath should improve in this area, and the Redskins also draft a kicker in the seventh round of the draft in Zach Hocker.  Hocker is known for his strong leg, and he will compete with the Forbath for the kicking job.  The Redskins have also not ruled out keeping two kickers with one being a kickoff specialist.
