This is a concept design for a new Redskins Uniform by graphic artist Jesse Alkire. Click here for a look at the compete design. It’s a cool idea, but I think it’s a little too out there for the Redskins. However, it might not be a bad idea for the Redskins to change things up a bit and come up with something fresh and new.
If you haven’t seen the new Nike designed uniforms for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, here’s a link to their new uniform here. I can’t say I care for them, maybe they just need to grow on you? But what about the Redskins? They are one of the teams that typically don’t stray too far away from their usual design. But is it time for a change?
I don’t see the Redskins ever going to a uniform design quite as radical as what the Buccaneers have done, but there are some other options the team could go to. Maybe a return to the spear logo on the helmets. Or how about the yellow helmets with the “R” on them. And I always liked how they wore the white jerseys at home during the Joe Gibbs era.
But what do you think? Should the Redskins create a new uniform design, switch to a look from their history, or just stay with what they have?
