2014 Washington Redskins NFL Mock Draft.  This mock draft is centered around the picks that the Washington Redskins have in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Round 7 - Connor Shaw, QB - South Carolina - (6-1, 209) If the Redskins trade Kirk Cousins, then they will need to develop a new backup quarterback.  Connor Shaw has plenty of experience as a starter in college, and would be more a true backup than Cousins, in that there would be less controversy as to who the starter is.  And Shaw would make a good backup.  Previous pick:  Dri Archer, WR - Kent State

    I like Shaw; he’s tough as nails and has proven that he can both throw and run with the ball. I’m a diehard Gamecock fan and Shaw has been great for the team. Fans are going to miss him.

      I agree about Connor Shaw. He’s the perfect kind of quarterback to take late in the draft to develop in your backup. He’s a gamer, and I love all of the experience he has as a starter.
